Officer Jansen will be representing the Sandy Springs Police Department in May as he cycles from Reading, PA to Washington, D.C. with the Law Enforcement United (LEU): PA chapter. The LEU is committed to honoring officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty and Officer Jansen is cycling this event in honor of fallen Officer Christopher Ewing from the Smyrna Police Department. Officer Ewing lost his life after being struck by a drunk driver in April 2020.
