What day is it?? Last weekend (June 11-12) we coupled our bi-annual Tacori event with a fun evening soiree (#BlingForBloggers) and the whole weekend became a blur, but a fun one at that!
We gathered inspiration from California for our weekend’s theme: Tacori Summer Sparkle. All creative and decor was based around ocean-side sunsets and the sparkling reflections in the water. Because let’s be real, is there anything better than the sun setting into the ocean? OK.. maybe just Tacori!
Each summer Tacori releases two new collections, one bridal and one fashion, during the JCK Las Vegas show and we were the FIRST to debut them to the public! These “never before seen” collections included bridal styles from Petite Crescent and Simply Tacori and fashion styles from Ivy Lane, Sonoma Mist, and Encore. Each design embodies the laid back, yet glamorous, side of the West Coast and have signature details inspired by the area’s local landscapes. Sonoma Mist, for example, was inspired by California’s renowned vineyards and the dew that settles on the grapes during the early morning sunrise. This particular inspo got us thinking… what IF we combined a few of our favorite things and invited a few lovely faces to join us? (Enter, stage right) #BlingForBloggers!
An invite-only social event? What do we do? Who do we invite? What drinks to pour and what light bites to prepare? Will anyone come? We teamed up with the gals at Tacori and scoured social sites in order to locate the best bloggers in the ATL but we weren’t fully prepared for what came next.
It was finally Friday, and once the clock struck 5, the bloggers began to arrive!! One by one they strolled through our doors looking as lovely as they always do in their posts and with unmatched personality. We dressed up, we toasted with champagne, we filled our bags with blue and white candies, and we had THE BEST time.
Our social media feeds were filled with lovely photos of the bling, bubbles, and flowers (thanks Peachtree Petals!) while the #BlingForBloggers was used so that we can relive the evening any chance that we get! Of course, what good is any event without a Grand Finale?! Each mention, share, and post from our event was noted so that we could dress one special lady up with some very NEW Tacori. The Grand Prize (a Tacori gift provided by D. Geller & Son) is a stunning 18K rose gold set with diamonds outlining the chevron pattern of the earrings and matching necklace.
We “liked,” we “double tapped”, and we “re-tweeted” over 100 entries. Over 100 wonderfully captured memories from our evening with some of the best ladies that we have ever encountered. And from the bottom of our hearts:
